Welcome, and thanks for shopping with AubX. Before you check out, here's the deal — literally. These Terms of Sale cover what you can expect from us and what we expect from you when you buy something on theaubx.com. We've tried to keep the legalese to a minimum, because nobody's ever finished a terms page and thought, "wow, wish that had more Latin in it."

By placing an order, you're agreeing to everything below. So it's worth a read.

The short version

• Everything we sell is for laboratory research only — not for human or animal use. This one's non-negotiable.
• You need to be of legal age and buying for legitimate research purposes.
• We price fairly, ship promptly, and stand behind the quality of what we send.
• If something's wrong with your order, tell us and we'll make it right.
• The details below spell all of that out properly.

Research use only — please read this part

Every product sold by AubX is intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes only. Our products are not drugs, supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not intended or approved for human consumption, animal consumption, or any therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical use.

By purchasing, you confirm and agree that:

• You are acquiring these products solely for in-vitro research and laboratory experimentation.
• You will not ingest, inject, or administer them to yourself, another person, or any animal.
• You are qualified and equipped to handle research materials safely and responsibly.
• You take full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, and use of anything you order.

We make no claims — express or implied — that any product is safe or effective for treating, curing, preventing, or diagnosing any condition. If you're looking for something to use on a living thing, this is not the store for you, and we mean that sincerely.

Who can buy

To order from AubX, you must be at least 21 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if it's higher) and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You also confirm you're purchasing for legitimate research use, as described above.

We reserve the right to ask for verification and to decline or cancel any order we have reason to believe doesn't meet these requirements.

Your responsibility to know the rules where you live

Laws around research compounds vary from place to place, and it's on you to know the ones that apply to you. By ordering, you confirm that you're allowed to purchase and possess these products in your location, and that doing so won't break any local, state, or federal law. We can't be your legal advisor here, we just make the products and ship them.

Product listings and accuracy

We work hard to describe our products accurately, including specs, purity, and third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation — because independent verification is kind of our whole thing. That said, we're human, and occasionally a typo, pricing glitch, or description error slips through.

If we find a mistake in a listing or price after you've ordered, we'll let you know and give you the choice to confirm the corrected details or cancel for a full refund. We won't sneak a surprise on you.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and don't include shipping or any applicable taxes, which get calculated at checkout.

Payment is due at the time you place your order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, and your payment is handled securely by our payment processor, we never see or store your full card details (there's more on that in our Privacy Policy).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed. What you saw, is what you pay.

Order acceptance

Placing an order is you making us an offer to buy — it's not a done deal until we accept it. We'll send an order confirmation when we receive your order, but we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for reasons including suspected fraud, listing errors, stock issues, or a reasonable belief the order isn't for legitimate research use.

If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you get a full refund. No drama.

Shipping and delivery

Once your order's confirmed and payment clears, we'll get it packed and out the door as quickly as we reasonably can. Orders typically ship within 24 hours of purchase, it will not go more than 48 hours for sure. When your order's shipping label is printed, you will get email confirmation and tracking info.

We'll provide tracking when it's available. Delivery times depend on the carrier and where you are and while we'd love to control the weather, traffic, and the occasional adventurous mail truck, we can't. Once a package is handed off to the carrier, delivery timing is in their hands.

Risk of loss and title pass to you once we hand your order to the carrier. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, reach out and we'll help you sort it out with the carrier, we're not going to leave you stranded.

Returns and refunds

Because of the nature of research materials, we generally can't accept returns of products once they've shipped this is standard across the industry and it's about integrity, not us being difficult.

That said, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, that's on us to fix. Contact us at support@theaubx.com upon delivery with your order number and a photo of it, and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. We'd rather have a happy customer than win an argument.

Refunds, when they apply, go back to your original payment method and may take a few business days to show up, depending on your bank's mood that week.

Cancellations

Changed your mind? If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to catch it before it goes out. Once it's shipped, we're into return territory (see above).

Quality and warranties

We take quality seriously and it's why we invest in third-party COA verification instead of just taking a supplier's word for it. We warrant that our products meet the specifications listed at the time of sale.

Beyond that, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, our products are sold "as is" for research purposes. We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose because "a particular purpose" here means research, and nothing else.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AubX and its owners, employees, and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your purchase or use of our products, including any misuse. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product in question.

You assume all risk and responsibility associated with handling, storing, and using research materials. By ordering, you agree to that.

Intellectual property

The content on theaubx.com, including text, product photography, logos, and our COA documentation and research library, belongs to AubX. Feel free to browse and reference it, but please don't copy, resell, or repackage it as your own. We put real work into it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate courts of South Carolina, and by ordering you agree to that.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order is the one that applies to that order, so the "last updated" date at the top is worth a glance. We'll always keep the current version posted here.
